Hello everyone,
This VFX project was developed mainly in Adobe After Effects and Blender, an open source 3D computer graphics software.
The purpose of creating this stunning visual content was to learn and apply compositing techniques and to use 3D models with CGI (computer-generated imagery).
Adobe Photoshop and Premiere were also used.
The Earth texture maps were downloaded from http://www.shadedrelief.com/natural3/pages/textures.html
The 3d Capsule model was produced in Blender. The textures were created using Adobe Photoshop and then, it was used the Element 3D, a Plug-in within After Effects, to apply them.
The visual effects visible on this video were from Action Essentials 2, Element 3D v2.2, and Video Copilot.
